For 4 centuries, Cire Trudon has supplied its candles to many historical figures in French history, such as Napoléon Bonaparte. This experience makes Cire Trudon unique in its creations of scented sensations in candles. Each candle is still made by hand in the factory in Normandy and the wax of the candles contains palm oil, rice, soy and copra. This allows Cire Trudon to call itself 100% plant-based. The gold label on the candles is made exclusively for Cire Trudon by the oldest manufacturer of champagne labels in France. Printed in gold letters with the logo and inscription of Cire Trudon since Louis XIV: "deoregique laborant" (they work for the king and for god).
