The Brow Styling treatment: more than just plucking eyebrows

During the Brow Styling treatment, we'll make sure your eyebrows truly shine! Together with the eyebrow expert, you'll determine the perfect shape for your eyebrows. The expert will pluck or wax your eyebrows to remove unwanted hairs around them, and then tint them to your desired color.

After plucking and dyeing, the eyebrows are styled with makeup from Laura Mercier or Olcay Gulsen Beauty and we explain step by step how to create these perfect eyebrows at home.

Determining the shape and plucking the eyebrows

Not every face is the same, so not all eyebrows are the same either. The ideal eyebrow shape depends on your face shape. For example, straight eyebrows often look better on a long face, and a good arch (kink) in the eyebrows is best on a round face.

During the Brow Styling treatment, we'll determine the ideal eyebrow shape based on your facial features. Once the shape is determined, we'll start shaping your eyebrows. We'll pluck or wax any excess hair during the shaping process . The goal is to remove as little hair as possible. This way, we maintain the natural shape and ensure your eyebrows stay beautifully full.

Dyeing the eyebrows

After shaping your eyebrows, we'll start coloring them. The color we use depends on what suits your skin and hair color, and what you'd like to achieve.

Good to know: immediately after dyeing, the color is often slightly more intense. Don't be alarmed, though; after two days, your eyebrows will have the perfect color!
The eyebrow dye lasts about 2 to 4 weeks, depending on your activities. Going on vacation to a sunny destination? Sunlight and seawater can cause the color to fade more quickly.

The styling of the eyebrows

Once your eyebrows are the right shape and color, we can start styling them. We use products from Laura Mercier or Olcay Gulsen Beauty for this. We can add fullness with a pencil or powder, keep your eyebrows in place with an eyebrow gel, and give your eyebrows a visual lift with a highlighter.

While styling your brows, we'll guide you step by step through our process, so you can also perfectly shape your eyebrows at home.

Care tips for your eyebrows

To ensure you enjoy your brow styling treatment for even longer, we've compiled four tips for you. These tips will help you keep your eyebrows' shape and color for as long as possible.

Tip 1: the first 24 hours after treatment

After a Brow Styling treatment, it is important not to get the eyebrows wet for the first 24 hours and to avoid direct sunlight.

Tip 2: Protect your eyebrows from the sun

You know how it is: after a sunny vacation, you return with lighter hair and natural highlights. The dye has often faded, and you look much blonder.

The same thing happens with eyebrows. If you regularly expose your eyebrows to sunlight, they will become lighter and the dye will fade faster. Want to enjoy your dyed eyebrows as long as possible? Avoid direct sunlight by sitting in the shade, for example, or wearing a hat or cap when sitting in the sun.

Tip 3: Use mild cleansers and avoid oil-based products

To enjoy the dye in your eyebrows for as long as possible, we recommend using mild cleansers. The milder the cleanser, the slower the dye will fade.

We also recommend avoiding oil-based care products. Oil can fade eyebrow dye. Instead, it's better to use water-based care products.

Tip 4: Use an eyebrow serum

An eyebrow serum strengthens the hairs and can extend the life of the dye. When choosing a serum, choose one with nourishing ingredients like vitamins.

If the eyebrow dye fades between styling sessions, use a colored eyebrow gel or eyebrow pencil to slightly intensify the color.
